Fossicking With Doug - The Movie
Back in May 2008 I made the move from Sydney to a small town in outback North Queensland called Mt Surprise. This town is well known in the fossicking circles because of the O'Briens Creek topaz fields. Here I work for a small gemshop (Mt Surprise Gems) cutting stone and leading topaz digging tours.
On one of the tours, a fellow by the name of Colin brought along his video camera and filmed the whole day. He very quickly afterwards made a short movie called "Fossicking With Doug" and posted it on youtube. Absolutely brilliant!!!
